Less Than A Week

I will be saying goodbye to the U.S. in only 6 days! I've already said goodbye to a lot of friends and family members. My mom had a great party for me on Friday to see our family and friends one last time and I had an awesome weekend getting to see Kyle and his family for the last time. Kyle left for Australia on Monday and should be arriving sometime this morning. These next five months apart will be hard but we will both be seeing and learning so much. These next few days I'll be saying goodbye to everyone else and doing some major packing. Can't wait to finally get to Europe!

My First Euro

Today my Onkel gave me a going away present... EUROS! I've never seen euros before. It was interesting that they were all different colors and sizes; very different than American dollars. Well needless to say... I have some euros in my pocket and I'm excited to buy things in Europe!

Julius Raab Heim

This is a picture of the campus. At school I will be living in Julius Raab Heim. Inside it has a restaurant, indoor swimming pool, solarium, sauna, winter garden, lawn, sports hall, bowling lanes, fitness studio, billiards, table tennis, tennis and an in-house chapel!

In One Month

Hello! In one month from today I will be in Munich, Germany! I leave from O'hare on Tuesday February 7th at 6:06 p.m. and will arrive in Munich, Germany on Wednesday February 8th at 9:50 a.m. From Wednesay to Sunday I will be staying with my cousin Franzie in Germany. On Sunday February 12th he will drive me to Linz, Austria where I will then move in to my dorm. I am really excited for all the adventures I will encounter, amazing sights I will see and all the people I will meet, however, I am also very nervous to be arriving there knowing no one and taking on a heavy work load in German class.
